Overview
The unique essence of our program lies in the belief that horses, through their wisdom and intuition, guide Blackfeet youth in developing essential life and leadership skills, while cultivating a deeper connection to their cultural heritage.
WHAT YOUR CHILD WILL GAIN
Horse Wisdom: Profound teachings and insights from horses as spiritual guides and mentors for personal growth and deeper cultural understanding.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
TIFFANY STGODDARD
On their family ranch at the base of the Rocky Mountains bordering Glacier National Park, Tiffany, her husband and two children raise cattle and horses. With 10 years experience as a school district Business Manager, Tiffany now enjoys her role of a full time ranch/rodeo wife, sports Mother and part time consultant. Her family also owns and operates Deep Creek Feeds, a small family owned livestock mineral business. She enjoys colt starting, breakaway roping, barrels and her peaceful hours spent at the barn.
With her values in the ranching lifestyle, Blackfeet culture, and love for horses, Tiffany finds fulfillment in raising her children in the lifestyle. She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration and associates in equine management. Tiffany loves to serve as an ambassador for her AG Community, Women in Ranching and people of the Blackfeet Nation.

JESSICA SHORTRIDGE
Jessica Shortridge is an experienced Montana cowgirl dedicated to sharing her fundamental knowledge and tools for safely enjoying working with and riding horses in our beautiful state. Whether you’re looking to gain confidence with your own horse or yourself, Jessica is here to help.
Jessica offers a range of services, including individual, family, and group counseling through Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy, covering everything from leading, tying, grooming, tacking, and groundwork to riding with bareback and western saddles. As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, she provides specialized services for those suffering from alcohol and drug abuse.

Carol Tatsey-Murray
Elder Carol Murray is from Badger Creek near Browning and now lives along the Two Medicine River on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. She has dedicated her life to preserving and revitalizing Native American culture, especially for her people, the Amskapii Piikanii (Blackfeet Nation).
She earned her degrees from Blackfeet Community College and Montana State University, working for 36 years at Blackfeet Community College in various leadership roles. Carol now serves as a tribal adviser for the Blackfoot Gallery at the Glenbow Museum in Calgary and has co-curated for the Smithsonian Institution.

A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration. Essentials include appropriate clothing, personal hygiene items, and any necessary medications.

Safety is our top priority. We have trained staff on-site, first aid supplies, and protocols for emergency situations. Additionally, all horse activities are supervised by experienced instructors.

Yes, all meals and snacks are provided. We accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences, which can be noted on the registration form.

No prior horse experience is necessary. Our program is designed to accommodate beginners and experienced riders alike, with appropriate instruction for all skill levels.

For safety and liability reasons, all participants must have a signed waiver form to participate in the camp activities. The waiver form will be included in the confirmation email. Please ensure it is signed and returned before the camp starts. We will also have waivers available the morning of the event during drop-off.
